Get Kai for Android

Last updated October 11, 2026

Terms of use

The rules for using Kai, written to be read. By signing in to Kai, in the app or on this site, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

The short version
  • Kai gives fitness and nutrition guidance. It isn’t medical advice; numbers are estimates.
  • It’s a free, invite-only beta: things change and sometimes break. A key works for one account only.
  • Location is used only while you track an activity; AI features send audio, video and photos for analysis.
  • You own what you log; we use it only to run Kai for you.
  • Use it fairly: no abuse, no scraping, no sharing keys or accounts.
  • You can leave and delete your data any time.

01The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Kai. By signing in to Kai (in the app or on this website), applying for the beta, or downloading the app, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy, including how we log AI usage. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Kai.

You need to be at least 16 years old. If you use Kai for a team or gym, you confirm you’re allowed to accept these terms for them.

02What Kai is

Kai is an AI coach that logs your training, food, water and body data from what you say, type or photograph, reads activity from your watch if you allow it, and gives fitness and nutrition guidance, training plans and suggestions.

03Health and safety: please read

Kai is not a doctor, dietitian, physiotherapist or medical device, and nothing it says is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It doesn’t replace a professional who knows your health history.

  • Calorie, macro, burn and readiness numbers are estimates. Photo estimates, voice parsing and watch data can all be wrong.
  • Talk to a healthcare professional before starting a new training or diet plan, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, an injury, an eating disorder history, or take medication.
  • Exercise demonstrations and plans are general guidance. Use proper form, a spotter for heavy lifts, and loads you can control.
  • Stop exercising and get help if you feel pain, dizziness, chest pain or shortness of breath. In an emergency, call 911 (Philippines) or your local emergency number.

You train and eat at your own risk, and you’re responsible for the choices you make with Kai’s suggestions.

04The beta

Kai is in beta. That means:

  • Access is by invitation. A beta key is personal and single-use: the first Kai account that enters it owns it, and no other account can use it. Don’t share, sell or publish your key. We can revoke a key at any time, which ends access for the account it is bound to.
  • Features change often, some will break, and some may disappear. Data loss is unlikely but possible, so don’t rely on Kai as your only record of anything important.
  • The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans later, we’ll tell you before anything is charged, and nothing is charged without your explicit agreement.
  • We may end the beta, or your participation in it, at any time.

05Your account

  • Sign in with your own Google account and keep it secure. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Give accurate information during setup: Kai’s targets and suggestions depend on it.
  • Tell us right away if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You can stop using Kai and delete your data at any time (Settings → Delete my Kai data).

06Your content

You own what you log, say, type and photograph (“your content”). You give us a limited permission to store, process and display it, and to send it to our service providers, only to run Kai for you, as described in the Privacy policy. This permission ends when you delete your content, except for copies kept in backups for a short time.

Don’t upload anything you don’t have the right to share, or photos of other people without their permission.

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Kai without owing you anything. Thank you for them.

07Tracking runs, rides and walks

When you start an activity, Kai uses your phone’s GPS to record the route, distance and pace, including with the screen off, and saves it to your account. Kai uses your location only while an activity is being tracked. GPS can be inaccurate, and indoors or under cover it can drift or drop out.

Be aware of traffic and your surroundings. Don’t use your phone in ways that distract you while running or riding, and follow the rules of the road. You’re responsible for your own safety.

08Fair use

Kai may have daily limits on AI requests, photo scans and spoken replies, and a monthly allowance of Live talk minutes, so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. We may change these limits as Kai grows. Don’t:

  • try to break, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or get around Kai’s limits or security;
  • use automated scripts or bots to send requests;
  • use Kai to create harmful, illegal, hateful or sexual content, or to harass anyone;
  • pretend to be someone else, or use someone else’s account or beta key;
  • resell or redistribute Kai or the app file.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that break these rules, usually after a warning unless the abuse is serious.

09AI features

Kai uses AI models from third parties (OpenAI for chat, photos and voice replies; Google Gemini for Live talk and video form checks). When you use Live talk, your microphone audio streams to the AI while the call is on; when you check your form, the clip you choose is sent for analysis. Kai asks before you do either for the first time, doesn’t store the audio or video, and a form check is coaching, not a medical or injury assessment. AI can misunderstand you, make up details, or be confidently wrong. Check what Kai logged (every action shows a card you can undo) and correct it by voice or text.

We record each AI request’s type, model, token count, audio or video seconds, whether it succeeded and its cost (not its content) to operate Kai, prevent abuse and plan pricing. Your conversations stay in your history until you delete them.

10Downloads and updates

  • The Android app is offered as a direct download from this website, signed with Kai’s own key. Only install Kai from kai.vibeboxph.com or the official app stores; we can’t vouch for copies from anywhere else.
  • Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser. That setting is yours to turn back off afterwards.
  • Kai shows an update card when a new version is out. Older versions may stop working with our servers over time.

11Watches and other services

Kai can connect to Health Connect, Apple Health, Samsung Health and your watch’s app. Those are run by other companies under their own terms; we aren’t responsible for their data, accuracy or availability. Android and Health Connect are trademarks of Google LLC; Galaxy Watch and Samsung Health are trademarks of Samsung Electronics; Apple Health is a trademark of Apple Inc. Kai isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by them.

12Our stuff

The Kai app, name, logo, orb, designs, code and exercise visuals belong to us. You may use them only to use Kai as intended. These terms don’t give you any other rights in them.

13Warranties and liability

Kai is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that Kai will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its estimates are accurate.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or injuries resulting from following Kai’s suggestions, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (during the free beta, that’s zero). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.

14Ending things

You can stop using Kai at any time and delete your data from Settings. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue Kai; if we discontinue Kai we’ll give reasonable notice where we can so you can export your data.

15Changes to these terms

We’ll update these terms as Kai grows and change the date at the top. For important changes we’ll let you know in the app first. Continuing to use Kai after a change means you accept the new version.

16Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We’d rather solve any problem by talking first, so please reach out. If that doesn’t work, disputes go to the competent courts of the Philippines, unless your local law gives you the right to use your own courts.

17Contact

Use the Support page, Report a problem in the app (Settings → Help, or shake your phone), or reply to any email from us.

Questions people ask

Is Kai free?
Yes, during the beta. If paid plans come later, we’ll tell you first, and you’ll never be charged without agreeing to it.
Can I share my beta key with a friend?
It wouldn’t work anyway: a key belongs to the first account that enters it. Shared keys may also be turned off. Send your friend to the download page to request their own.
Can Kai replace my coach or dietitian?
No. Kai is great at the logging and the day-to-day nudges, but it isn’t a professional who knows your health history. Use it alongside one if you have one.
What if Kai logs something wrong?
Say “undo” or correct it (“that was 70 kilos”). Every action shows a card you can undo. You’re responsible for checking what gets logged.
Are there limits on how much I can use it?
Yes, generous daily limits on AI chats, photo scans and spoken replies. Normal use never hits them; they stop abuse and keep Kai affordable.
Can I use Kai for clients at my gym?
Kai is built for individuals right now. If you’re a coach or gym interested in Kai, tell us on the Support page.
What happens if Kai shuts down?
We’ll give notice where we can so you can export your data first.
